We, too, are going on a cruise from Istanbul this summer. The cost of a visa through the cruise line was exorbitant in our opinion, and we found that upon arrival at the airport in Istanbul, we could get a Turkish visa for $20 US dollars by simply getting into what is most always a very short line and presenting our passports. Many others who have taken this cruise before us have done exactly that.
