Regarding Cuatro Vientos in Puerto Vallarta. I know my reply is probably too late for Paul, but I hiked up to the hotel last Feb and it looked in disarray and not especially as inviting as I remember it years ago. Also, I recall they wanted at least a 4 days or longer minimum stay. Many of the hotels in PV now offer an all you can eat and drink rate reminiscent of the old Club Med system. We were in PV 2 weeks ago on a cruise and the heat was particularly unpleasant.
