|Subject: Cell Phone Use In flight|
I just read the following:
"The FCC has proposed to put an end to regulations that prohibit passengers from using cell phones, BlackBerries and similar technology during air travel, so long as the planes carry proper technology to prevent communication disruptions for pilots.": http://tinyurl.com/hol2m
I can't imagine economy class flights getting any more uncomfortable or unpleasant but this would do it for me. I was so happy when our recent flight to Toronto from Vancouver took off, as it meant everyone who was shouting into his or her phone had to switch off.
Am I being a Luddite? Is this inevitable?
