|Subject: Re: Notes from the road|
Well, we won't be losing weight - the food is fantastic at the hotels: We are in Sarlat for a day and a half - leave tomorrow after the Saturday market, quite a famous one.
The walking is going well. The day before yesterday we walked from Beynac to the castle Castelnaud then to Roque Gageac, then to Domme and then to Vitrac. Both the castle and Domme are high up and we moaned a bit, but they were worthwhile.
Better even than the tourist destinations though are the quiet roads, the forest and farm tracks. We have seen wonderful wild flowers including orchids.
People are friendly and we are glad to be part of the self- propelled world!
This keyboard is defeating me and I am anxious to explore Sarlat.
