Subject: Re: Travel Tips , Priceline and Cruises |
Hi Ziners,
Like you, Diana, we too have had success with Priceline bids. Last year we organised a vacation to Washington, DC, New York City and Boston and didn't pay more than US$120 per night and quite often we paid less. We were always in 4 star hotels. We may take the plunge and try an overseas hotel next time we are in Europe. There seem to be excellent deals in London for example. I usually check out http://www.biddingfortravel.com as you suggested but to bid I use http://www.betterbidding.com which I believe was suggested to me by a Travelziner a couple of years ago. I find that questions are answered quickly and in a very friendly manner that I like. Diana, last year, you helped me a huge amount with suggestions for the Transatlantic cruise that we booked for October of this year. We are probably going to cancel as our daugther is expecting her first child Nov. 5th and we really don't think we want to be in the middle of the Atlantic when the big event happens! So we're looking at delaying our cruising until April/May 2007 and, no doubt I'll be looking for more help. Best regard to everyone, Judy, Abbotsford BC Canada |
