I will probably book my solo week there. The key words were "friendly people, reasonably priced and safe". I'll look for another studio in a different part of the City for when my husband arrives so I can have two totally different studio experiences. That also provides me with an opportunity to fully explore two different areas on foot.

The Air France bus stops at Gare du Lyon on arrival so the location will work very well for me.

Carrie's response about Sunday Aerostar fares may change my plans a little. Possibly stay an additional night in Paris & depart on Monday. I'll also watch for any fare specials as I get closer to the date
